Fresh from a six-month sojourn in Italy, Lady Julia returns home to Sussex to find her father's estate crowded with family and friends; but dark deeds are afoot at the deconsecrated abbey, and a murderer roams the ancient cloisters.

A self-confessed Anglophile, Deanna is, in fact, a native Texan, although she now resides in Virginia with her husband and daughter. Deanna did double majors in English and History at university, and the Regency and Victorian periods hold special interest for her.
